There's been an awakening…….Have you smelt it??!! With the new Star Wars movie just around the corner, the boys from the UK decided it would be a good idea to discuss the crossover between Star Wars and Action Force during the Palitoy years. Influences in toy design, marketing, advertising and variant figures lead the way with a review on the Palitoy Death Star and Action Force HQ. We also chat with Erich Ridlon and Erik Araña in regards to their Star Wars experiences at Hasbro and look at the future of both brands. Yes folks, there's not long to go until Episode VII of the Star Wars saga is upon us, so here at BTTE Towers we thought it'd be a nice idea to go back, way back, to where it all began.
So let's all have a good look at Episode IV, shall we? To when Luke Skywalker was just a farm boy flying through Beggar's Canyon, Ben Kenobi was a crazy old wizard, Darth Vader had killed Anakin Skywalker, and R2 and 3PO were the narrators.

Yes folks, Christmas time is upon us again, and to start off this year's festive season, Jenny from World of Crap is with us to remind us that it's not always fun and frolics at Christmastime, sometimes you have to contend with things like the ALF Christmas, and as always, Bungle will have a strop in the Rainbow house! (Also, Paula finds out that George is a boy!)
There's also all the news that you'd want from your favourite franchises, and a question regarding everyone's favourite Masked Crusaders, so please, pull up a seat, and listen closely. Because next week, you may feel a certain stirring in the Force...

It's a totally radical episode this week duderinos, as Glenn, Paula and Becca take a look at the most gnarly cartoon to span both the 80's and 90's, and actually run for 10 whole seasons, as well as produce enough merchandise to match the GDP of a major First World country - we're talking about the completely crucial and radical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, dude (Hero Turtles in the UK - what a bummer, thanks Thatcher)
There's also some news, but not a lot, as it's coming up to Christmas, and most toy companies already have their Santa Lists drawn up by this time of year. Totally not cool, dudes.

I know what you're all thinking……all of a sudden these fools are releasing regular content!! It's the usual suspects, Dave, Eddie and Chris but this time they join forces with Ireland's finest! Paddy Lennon and Brian Hickey chip in to help out the boys with the hosting duties as they navigate through the G.I. Joe Club, Action Man and Kindle Worlds news. Add to that a Baron Ironblood figure review, interviews with Raginspoon, Nichole Kirschstein and Justin Bell, as well as a surprisingly large, 'What We Got In' segment courtesy of Dave for a change!! There's a slight invasion on the podcast this week, as Becca takes us back to 1976, to before Jeff Wayne had composed the theme for TV-am, and David Essex was still considered something of a cool guy, and Richard Burton was (probably) still married to Liz Taylor, as we take a look at Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds (to give it it's full title).

We're all back for RORC (boo), and this week it's Andrew's turn to spotlight something so near and dear to his heart, that he didn't even have to do any research - it is of course Action Force! We learn from it's very beginnings, through to the point where it morphed into GI Joe and beyooond!
