In this week's offering and in light on Superman's 75th Anniversary, we rewind the clock back to 1988, and to the Man of Steel's 50th year. An original story written and directed by Dirk Maggs, this was the BBC's first foray into the Superman mythos, and they place the entire franchise on trial (Something the BBC was very good at in the late 80s....but I digress). Anyway, back to the plot: Ganthet (From the Green Lantern comics) is the judge, set in the Phantom Zone, and calls upon witnesses from both the fictional world and the "Real World" (Like Adam West and artist Dave Gibbons). Representing the defence is Lois Lane, and the prosecution is presented by Lex Luthor. Will Lois succeed in clearing Clark Kent's name, or will Lex subject Superman to the ultimate fate?
