Can you really call this dub by Joseph Lai 'a lot gem'? I mean this is the man who handled ADR on all of Godfrey Ho's ninja movies as well as these twoofferings.
Fun fact unlike a good chunk of the Joseph Lai 'crapanimation' releases, this one HASN'T been uploaded onto archive.org.
Regardless you have to feel sorry for my uncle who I watched/reviewed this with, it tooks us roughly 30 minutes until he was willing to admit it.

Now for some cool news - Flash Gordon, The Phantom and Mandrake are returning as a team in modern day comic books! Coming soon from Dynamite comics is "King's Watch" where the three heroe and Lothor will team up against all of their foes. It's NOT Defenders of the Earth, but it's closest we'll ever get to a modern day revival. Coincidence? Hardly, but it's a lovely bit of serendipity anyway.
Stay tuned next weekend as we return to see if any of our heroes get to cheat death...... spoiler: they do :P
